As I mentioned in a post recently, VH-VXA is now flying around in a special livery for the 2013/14 Australian Ashes tour. I managed to catch this aircraft on my recent spotting trip to Sydney and thought I'd share some photos.

Jetstar Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner at the Gold Coast with Photos!
Jetstar's first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner has been flying into the Gold Coast, Cairns and Sydney over the last couple of weeks for training purposes and to show staff Jetstar's newest toy! After coming into OOL five times over the last couple of weeks I managed to get down to OOL for her sixth visit yesterday. VH-VKA arrived at 1410 as JQ1623 from Melbourne, she then departed at 1600 as JQ1624 back to Melbourne. Here are some of my photos of the stunning Dreamliner!
Arriving on RWY32
Exiting the runway
Taxiing to the terminal
Climbing out after departing RWY32
Those wings!
Stunning!
Nice 180 degree turn to head back to Melbourne.
I spent the whole day at OOL, I will post my other photos later today.

Brisbane Airport Photos October 18
I went spotting today from about 07:30-12:30. Special movements included Qantas Boeing 767-300ER VH-OGG in 'Disney Planes' livery, which was off to Darwin. Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EEG (a regular movement now!), RAAF BBJ A36-001 was in for most of the morning. Qantas Boeing 767-336ER VH-ZXG flew SYD-BNE-SYD, only two of these ex BA 767s left! I also saw Volga Dnepr IL-76F RA-76503 parked on one of the taxiways near the old ITB. This aircraft arrived last Thursday and went tech, apparently with an engine issue.
