Tiger Airways rebrand
Tiger Airways re-branded as Tigerair on Wednesday 3 June 2013 in a bid to turn around the struggling airline. The future is looking brighter for the airline with Virgin Australia set to take control of Tigerair in the coming weeks. It has been stated that the airline plans to double its fleet by 2018. Tigerair Australia currently operate a fleet of 11 Airbus A320s which fly to 12 destinations.
