First Boeing 787-9 to visit Australia!

Brisbane Airport had a very special visitor today with Boeing 787-9 N789FT stopping by! The B789 made its international debut flying from Boeing Field (Seattle) to Auckland a couple of days ago to show off the new aircraft to launch customer Air New Zealand. It then flew from Auckland to Alice Springs via Brisbane. The stop over in Brisbane was for a customs and quarantine check, the aircraft will spend a week in Alice Springs for hot weather testing as part of the certification for the new B789.

N789FT touched down in BNE at 1055 and departed at 1318. Here are some of my photos.

On finals for RWY01.
